Retif Oil took to the diamond on Monday (June 24) to take on district rival Peake BMW (Brother Martin) at Kirsch Rooney Stadium. After Retif jumped out to an early 3-1 lead, Peake BMW found a spark in its bats in the top of the fifth to score three runs and take a 4-3 lead. In the sixth Peake continued to add to the board with a pair of unearned runs, making the score 6-3. Retif scored one run and tried to rally for more, but the two-run deficit proved too much.
