Jesuit vs. Central Lafourche, 13-3
On Thursday afternoon, Jesuit’s varsity baseball team secured a 13-3 win over Central Lafourche High School at the Oubre Memorial Baseball Tournament. Senior pitcher Cody Migliore (14) earned the win and extend his season record to 5-0. Offensively, junior Blake Baker (7) slammed a solo homerun and added three RBIs in the win. Senior Dylan Weston (27) went 4 for 4 and had one RBI.

On Friday at the Oubre Memorial Baseball Tournament, Jesuit fell to Destrehan High School, 4-3.

On Saturday, after a tough 4-3 loss to Destrehan on Friday night, Jesuit’s varsity baseball team bounced back with a 5-4 win over the West Ouachita Chiefs. Sophomore Jack Burk (11) earned the win, while junior Brandon Sequeria (10) chalked up a save. Junior Blake Baker (7) led the Jays offensively going 2 for 4. Sophomore catcher Trent Forshag (33) and junior left fielder Nathan Zimmer slammed extra base hits.

Sunday afternoon’s final game at the Oubre Memorial Baseball Tournament between the Jesuit Blue Jays and the Hahnville Tigers proved to be just what the doctor ordered– for the Hahnville Tigers. The Jays took one on the chin, 16-3, against a feisty Tiger club.
