Senior Riley Conroy hit seven free throws in the fourth period.

Blue Jays opened up the first round of the play-offs with a win against Central High- Baton Rouge, 49-37, on Tuesday, Feb.19. Junior Riley Conroy came off the bench to score 13. Senior Matt Felger finished with 12. Sophomore Trey LaForge added 11, including a trio of three-pointers. A large crowd, which included an enthusiastic swarm of students, packed the home side of the Birdcage to support their team.

Jesuit will travel to Reserve to face East St. John in the second round of

playoffs on Friday, Feb. 22. The Wildcats are seeded 8th in the Class 5A playoff bracket while the Blue Jays are seeded 9th. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m.
