Jays Sharpen Their Bats Against the Bucs

Senior southpaw Will North, along with reliever Christian Latino, pitched a combined no-hitter Friday night, April 12 against the West Jeff Buccaneers at John Ryan Stadium.
The Jays scored nine runs in the first inning and added another run in the third inning. With the score 10-0, the game was halted after the fifth inning on the 10-run rule. The Blue Jays play St. Paul’s of Covington on Saturday, April 13 at John Ryan Stadium. First pitch for this non-district game is 6 p.m.

Senior pitcher Will North threw four complete no-hit innings against the Bucs at John Ryan Stadium. The game ended after four and a half innings on the 10-run rule.

... as did junior second baseman Blake Baker (7) and pinch runner Mason Koppens. In the botttom of the first inning, the Blue Jays scattered seven hits and scored nine runs.
