Jays Bounce Back to Shut Out Mandeville, 1-0
After a brief intermission, the Blue Jays squared off with the Mandeville Skippers in their second game of the tournament. The first half of the match was a dead heat with both teams unable to find a way past the goalies.
The second half was all the Jays. Battling back from the previous 4-1 loss, senior David Stahl speed down the sideline to connect with senior Evan DeHoog on a crossed ball into the box.
The Jays return to action tomorrow (Saturday, Dec. 28) at 11 a.m. to face group rival East Ascension at Hunter Stadium on St. Paul’s campus.
