Blue Jay Golfers Win a Dual District Match Against the Crusaders

The Jesuit golf team defeated Brother Martin, 145-149, in a dual district match Thursday, Oct. 10 at Lakewood Golf Club. Each team fielded six golfers and counted only the four lowest individual scores on the par 36 front nine course.

Senior Will Dufour and sophomore Carlo Carino each shot a one-under 35; sophomore Grant Glorioso shot 37 and senior C.J. Blagrove was two over par with a 38. The scores of seniors Joe McAloon (39) and Cole Johnson (41) were discarded.

In action earlier this week, the Jays won their match against Archbishop Shaw when the Eagles forfeited play. The Blue Jays will be up against Holy Cross in a dual match that takes place at Lakewood next Tuesday, Oct. 15.
