Debaters Win Public Forum Debate in Mount Carmel Tournament

The Debate Team finished up with high marks at Mount Carmel’s debate tournament on Saturday, Nov. 9.

In Public Forum debate, the team of sophomore Andrew Cerise and junior Mako Giordano went undefeated and claimed first place, winning the first tournament of their career. The team of junior Rishab Chimmanamada and sophomore Mayank Mardia broke as well and placed fifth. In Novice LD, pre-freshman Robert Cerise placed first in the second tournament of his career, giving him his second win on the season.
