Jesuit easily defeated Grace King in district play in the Birdcage on Friday, Jan. 18. The Jays led the first quarter 18-5 and had a 40-10 advantage at the half . The squad took the opportunity to fully rotate through the players, giving each a chance to score. The third quarter ended with a more than comfortable 56-20 lead. The Jays finished the game by running out the clock for the 75-34 win. Leading scorers for the Jays were sophomore Trey LaForge with 16 points and senior Preston Reisig with 11 points.

The Blue Jays will continue District play against the Rummel Raiders in the Jesuit gym on Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 7 p.m.
