Blue Jay Ruggers Capture Fourth Consecutive State Championship

On Saturday April 6, the Jesuit A and B rugby teams competed in the Louisiana State Tournament. The B side took the state title, playing against Audubon and Mississippi. Sophomores Mason Page, Dom Carmello, Josh Mackels, and Sam Clutter scored along with junior Daniel Abadie and senior Nick Sevin. Dom Carmello also added one conversion. The win marks the fourth consecutive Jesuit state rugby title.

The A side played Lake Area, winning the third place. Seniors Mike Fitzpatrick and Zach Creel and juniors Andrew Martin and Brian Sevin scored. Brian Sevin added three conversions.
