Blue Jay Golfers Place Second in Bi-District Tournament

The Jesuit golf team placed second in the bi-district tournament held Tuesday, April 16 at Lakewood Golf Club. The 18-hole tourney featured players from 10 other schools. Five golfers on the team were allowed to compete with the highest score discarded. The Blue Jays scored 316, five strokes behind Brother Martin.

The Jays will compete in the regional tournament next Tuesday, April 23 at Carter Plantation in Hammond. The Jays must be on top of their game at the regional event if they hope to earn a spot in the state tournament in two weeks in Shreveport.
