Harvard University sophomore Paul Stanton, Jr., a 2012 Jesuit alumnus, ran for two touchdowns in overtime to help the Crimson down Holy Cross.

Harvard University sophomore Paul Stanton, Jr., a 2012 Jesuit alumnus, ran for two touchdowns in overtime to help the Crimson down Holy Cross.

Harvard sophomore Paul Stanton, Jr. ’12 ran for 103 yards and two touchdowns to help the Crimson beat in-state rival Holy Cross in a triple-overtime thriller. Stanton also had 55 receiving yards in the game that was played on Saturday, Oct. 5 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Harvard beat Holy Cross 41-35 to run the Crimson record to 3-0.

In 2013, Stanton has five touchdowns and is averaging 6 yards per carry.

Harvard, a NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (formerly Division I-AA),  competes in the Ivy League.
