The Jays needed a rally against the East Jefferson Warriors in the second round of the Newman Tournament on Thursday, but could not put one together. The result was the Jays came up short against the Warriors, 59-47. Junior Brett Spansel was high scorer for the Jays with 16 points. Jesuit will play a consolation game Saturday, Dec. 8, at 5:30 p.m. (at Newman) against the St. Augustine Purple Knights.
