Jays Falters in Closing Minutes for 43-35 Loss to the Cougars

The Blue Jays lost at home to the Cougars of Edna Karr on Monday, Dec. 3. Tied at 10 at halftime, the Cougars took control in the third quarter; but the Jays battled back with a 9-0 run to tie the game at 23 with 4:22 to play. It wasn’t enough, though, as Jesuit fell to Karr, 43-35. Senior Preston Reisig led the Jays with 11 points and seven rebounds. With the loss, Jesuit falls to 4-4.

The Jays return to action and open play in the Newman Tournament on Wednesday night when they take on Hahnville at 8 p.m.
