The Blue Jays trounced the Shaw Eagles, 56-41, on Saturday, Dec. 22, in the Bird Cage. Senior Matt Felger and sophomore Trey LaForge both contributed 16 points in the win. Going into halftime the score was tied, but in the second half the Jays found their spark and began to pull away from the Eagles. The Blue Jays return to action on Thursday, Dec. 27, in Washington D.C. for the Georgetown Prep National Jesuit Christmas Classic. Tip off is for 7 p.m. against Georgetown Prep.
