Blue Jays Best the Panthers in First Night of CYO Tournament in the Birdcage, 70-57

Jesuit fought to keep a comfortable lead over the Northshore Panthers throughout the game. Northshore’s high foul count gave Jays plenty of easy free throw points. The Blue Jays finished with their first CYO Tournament win over Northshore, 70-57.

Jesuit heads back to the Birdcage on Thursday for the Allstate Sugar Bowl CYO Basketball Tournament against the Purple Knights of St. Augustine. Tipoff is at 7:30 p.m. The tournament runs through Saturday at local high schools.
