Study Skills Camp
The camp introduces students to a variety of study skills. It includes instruction on note-taking, time management, organization, and test-taking strategies.
It is split into two periods, each with a short (10–15 minute) break. The first period is instruction, and the second is practical application. Students should bring a notebook, along with pens or pencils. All other materials will be provided. Students must be picked up within 15 minutes of the end of the session.
Location: Jesuit High School, Room 115
Session 1: Monday–Thursday, July 12–15, 9 a.m.–noon
Session 2: Monday–Thursday, July 19–22, 9 a.m.–noon
Camp Fee: $125 per camper
Eligibility: Open to all students in grades 5–9

Mr. Webre holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in English from the University of New Orleans. He has just completed his seventh year at Jesuit, where he teaches Study Skills and English
Before coming to Jesuit, Mr. Webre taught college English, ran the Tutoring Center at Tulane, directed Testing Services at UNO, and administered aptitude tests for the Johnson O’Connor Research Foundation, the oldest and most respected aptitude testing organization in the country.
