Camp DescriptionThis program investigates a student’s individual learning style and introduces them to a diverse number of study skills. Students will complete a multiple intelligence inventory to determine his learning style. There will be instruction on different study tactics for each learning style. The class will include instruction on note taking skills, time-management, and general test-taking skills. |
Camp InstructorJohn Webre – Mr. Webre holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in English from the University of New Orleans. He has just completed his fifth year at Jesuit, where he teaches Study Skills and English. Before coming to Jesuit, Mr. Webre ran the Tutoring Center at Tulane, directed Testing Services at UNO, and administered aptitude tests for the Johnson O’Connor Research Foundation, the oldest and most respected aptitude testing organization in the country. |
