Masculinity: Raising Boys Into Men with Dr. Mario Sacasa

Jesuit takes a comprehensive approach to student formation, recognizing the importance of academic excellence alongside social and emotional well-being. This commitment is reflected in the school’s robust guidance and counseling program, which includes nine dedicated counselors who support students academically, socially, and emotionally. Through peer support initiatives, suicide prevention efforts, and wellness programming, Jesuit works to ensure that every student receives individualized care and support.
Building on this mission, Jesuit’s Guidance Department will host a special presentation for parents focused on supporting boys’ mental health throughout the high school years and helping prepare them for long-term success. The event will take place on Thursday, February 5, at 5:30 p.m. in St. Ignatius Hall.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend this informative session to gain practical insights and strategies for promoting their son’s mental health and overall well-being.
Registration is requested below. For questions or additional information, please contact Health & Wellness Counselor Grace Delaney, M.A., LPC, at delaney@jesuitnola.org
