Guidance to Host Dr. Rahman: Supporting Students with ADHD and Anxiety

Posted October 13, 2025 / Last updated October 13, 2025

Jesuit is committed to supporting our students through the principle of cura personalis—care for the whole person. This is reflected in our robust guidance and counseling program, which includes nine dedicated counselors who monitor and assist students academically, socially, and emotionally. From peer support initiatives to suicide prevention and wellness presentations, Jesuit ensures every student receives individualized care.

Continuing this tradition, Jesuit’s Guidance Department will host a special presentation focused on supporting students with ADHD and anxiety. This event will take place on Wednesday, October 30th, from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m. in St. Ignatius Hall, just before parent-teacher conferences.

The session will be led by Dr. Ashifur Rahman, M.D., a board-certified adult and child psychiatrist with extensive experience working with children and adolescents. He brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to his work and is deeply committed to helping families navigate the challenges of ADHD and anxiety.

We encourage parents and guardians to attend this important session to gain insights and strategies that can help support their children’s mental health and well-being.
