Results:

  • Two weekends ago, City Park held its annual Big Bass Rodeo. Battle for the Bass is the high school division where students compete to bring the traveling trophy back to their school for the year. Eighth grade Team Dinkers with anglers Declan Vanderbrook and Boden Batt came in strong to take 3rd place overall. Ninth grade Team Hog Daddies took home the first-place win for the second year in a row weighing in a total of 5.18 pounds. Luke Montalbano, Garrett Cruppi and Christian Wright contributed to the win, but Jackson Fischer clenched the victory bringing in the big fish weighing just under 4 pounds. Congratulations anglers for bringing the trophy back to Carrolton and Banks.
