Lacrosse opened its season later than expected after weather canceled a trip to Dallas and postponed a matchup with St. Thomas More. When the Blue Jays finally took the field in late February, they earned a 12–10 road win over Gulf Breeze (FL). A challenging stretch followed, including a 14–6 loss to Houston Episcopal, a last-second loss to Loyola, and a one-goal defeat to St. Paul’s. The Jays snapped the stick with a 13–7 win over Catholic High, showing improvement on both ends of the field.

That progress showed Friday night as the Blue Jays defeated crosstown rival Brother Martin 15–4. The lacrosse team set the tone early and controlled possession throughout, limiting scoring opportunities while capitalizing on offense. The Jays built a lead in the opening half and extended it after the break, turning the game into their most decisive win of the season.

With the Jays finding their rhythm, they will host Newman for Senior Night on Wednesday, March 25 at 7 p.m. at Muss Bertolino Stadium, followed by a matchup against Loyola Prep on Friday, March 27 at 5 p.m.
