Mass Day Order, Day 6

  • All prefreshmen must meet today during the first half of lunch in the auditorium.
  • The Society of Saint Joseph is sponsoring a Saint Joseph’s altar this year, located in the Chapel of North American Martyrs. Students are free to visit anytime, but public visitation will only be open tonight from 5:00-7:30 pm. The Altar will be broken tomorrow during the second half of lunch.
  • Sign ups for the Student Council Rocket League tournament close today in the Commons. Teams of two must bring $20 in cash to register, and games will begin tomorrow in the commons. The winning team will win a Zion Williamson signed basketball.
  • March Madness has arrived! Fill out brackets and more at today’s Sports Analysis Club meeting during the first half of lunch in Room 231. 
  • Jesuit Medical Society invites all interested students to attend a guest lecture on the Effects of Vaping on the Body. It will take place tomorrow during lunch this in Room 317. The Medical Society is also planning a follow-up Narcan Training on Friday, March 27. Space is limited so please sign up for these sessions in Room 317. See Mrs. Tassin for more information.
  • The Creative Writing Club will meet during the first half of lunch in Room 220.
  • The Pro-Life Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 316 to watch the second half of the March for Life documentary video of our trip.  Anyone who registered for the Born to Run 5K can pick up race bibs and t-shirts today through tomorrow.   
  • All basketball, soccer, powerlifting, and wrestling lettermen are expected to report to the weight room during the lunch period today for lettermen jacket measurements and stripe and logo distribution.
  • The cheer team is looking for athletes to join the team and help them with competitions next year.  If you’re interested or would like to see what they do, come to the Benson Arena today after school at 3:30 pm and next Thursday, March 26.  There will be free Cane’s to all who attend.
  • Members of Mu Alpha Theta attending State Convention will practice today during the second half of lunch this week in Rooms 231, 228, 227, and 224. Check the bulletin boards outside of Room 225 and 328 for where you should report.
  • The 9th grade baseball team plays John Curtis this afternoon at John Ryan Stadium starting at 4:00.
  • The golf team will face Holy Cross this afternoon at English Turn starting at 4:00.
