Soccer continues its strong district play earning a convincing 3–0 victory over district competition Bonnabel.

The Blue Jays opened the scoring in the first half when senior Gavin Liantonio finished a well-placed effort off the post, set up by an assist from sophomore Jacob Kee. Jesuit kept the pressure on, and seniors Beau Hellmers doubled the lead later in the half, capitalizing on a quality assist from junior Casey Parker-Karst.

Jesuit carried the 2–0 advantage into halftime and remained composed defensively while continuing to create chances. The final goal came in the second half, as senior Elijah Perrien found the back of the net to seal the win. The play developed from a cross-field pass by sophomore Mani Vandenweghe, which senior Gabe Zeringue headed across the goal to set up Perrien for the finish.

With a disciplined defensive performance and balanced scoring attack, the Blue Jays controlled the match from start to finish, adding another important district win to their season.

The Blue Jays will host Chalmette in their next district match-up on Saturday, January 17, at 11 a.m. celebrating Senior Day at John Ryan Stadium.
