Regular Order, Day 1

  • The Anime Club will meet today during lunch in Room 116.
  • The Chess club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 311. 
  • Jesuit’s Multiverse Society will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 331.  All fandoms are welcome to attend.
  • The Quiz Bowl team will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 411.
  • The Pickleball Club will meet today during the first half of lunch in the 3rd floor gym of the Roussell Building. Sign-up for pickleball intramurals is now available on IM Leagues. Students should refer to the Student Life page on Canvas for instructions on how to register.
  • The Classic Rock Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 203.
  • All pre-freshmen and freshmen participating in Math Competitions will practice today during the second half of lunch in Room 330.
  • The second General Meeting of Mu Alpha Theta will take place Monday during the second half of lunch in St. Ignatius Hall.
  • The swimming team will compete in the prelims of the Metro Meet today at Franco’s in Mandeville at 2:00.  The finals take place at Franco’s on Saturday  starting at 1:30.
  • The varsity cross country team will compete in the LHSAA regional meet today at City Park starting at 12:15.
  • The varsity soccer team will scrimmage at Dutchtown this evening starting at 6:30.
  • The varsity wrestle team will open its season on Saturday competing in the Warrior Open at St. Michael the Archangel in Baton Rouge on Saturday.
  • The JV wrestling team will host and compete in the Jesuit JV Tournament in the Benson Arena starting at 9:00 a.m.
  • Intramural soccer registration is due today. Sign up on IMleagues. Instructions on how to sign up are on the student life page on Canvas.
  • Printing fees are due today.

Results:

  • The intramural semi-finals concluded with a thriller matchup in the sophomore league with the Black Forces defeating SRU 13 to 12. In the other game, the 6-7ers  defeated Brock’s Purdy 21 to 6. The senior semifinals concluded in dominant  fashion with the top seeded and undefeated JMP Squad beating Faiez Clan 30 to 0 and NYE Laibe defeating the Squires in the Commons 19 to 0. The championship games will be played next week. Championship media day will be on Monday in the commons.
  • The Beach Volleyball Team dominated in playoffs and retained their crown as defending champs.  Doubles teams comprised of Luca Marcello & Kale Le, Ryder Stewart & Jacob Waugaman, and Kenny Charity & James Robichaux were undefeated and beat teams from Country Day and Brother Martin to secure the championship. The quads team comprised of Jude Cannon, Luke Jones, Caleb Le, Sam McMillen, & Zachary Nolting also went undefeated for the championship.  Congratulations.
