Regular Order, Day 2
- Big Brothers must meet for training for the Freshman Retreat today during the second half of lunch in the Auditorium.
- Students donating blood should report to the Commons for their scheduled appointment time. Make sure you have eaten at least 4 hours prior to donating. Bring your photo ID and cell phone to the donation area in the Commons.
- The Blue Jay Choir will meet today after school in the choir loft.
- The Chess Club will meet tomorrow after school in Room 311.
- Notices for September printing fees have been sent to students Outlook email accounts. Students should pay these fees in Room 215 either before school, at 10-minute break, or during the lunch hour before Wednesday, October 8 to avoid losing computer services and receiving a PH.
- Admissions representatives from Princeton University and Johns Hopkins University will be available today during lunch in the College Counseling suite.

- Jesuit’s Freshman team defeated Holy Cross on Saturday with a score of 22-6. Ryan Carrigan connected with Marco Martinez for a 35 yard touchdown. The Jays controlled the game with a ground attack led by strong offensive line play from Cullen Mohr, Sammy Lanosga, Rex Foti, Adam Hawawini, Nathan Mohr, Andrew McKnight, Fred Goodrow and Cade Lamy. Braden Chadwick contributed on the ground with a 2 rushing touchdowns. The defense made crucial stops in the red zone to hold off the tigers. Congratulations.
- Congrats to the Gizzard for defeating Holy Cross in the Great American Rivalry Chin-up Challenge.
- The Chess team, comprising Austin Janusa, Kristofferson Mercadel, Aidan Thomas, Arav Kamboj, and Yousef Fallah, played at the New Orleans Youth Chess tournament this past Saturday. Austin Janusa led the team with a solid 3 out of 4 games, winning the second-place individual trophy. Kristofferson shocked everyone in his matches by upsetting his opponents with 3 wins and a tie, winning the first-place individual trophy. As a team, Jesuit won first-place with an overwhelming lead in the K-12 division.
