Regular Order, Day 4

  • The varsity football team will face Holy Cross in the 106th meeting of the Great American Rivalry Series Game on Friday night at Tad Gormley with kickoff set for 7:15.  Pre-sale tickets are $10.00 each for adults and non-Jesuit students and $5.00 each for children (ages 6-11).  Pre-sale tickets are available for purchase online through Friday at 3:15 p.m. and at the front desk daily from 7:30 a.m. through 3:30 p.m.  Tickets purchased at the gate are $15.00 each for adults and non-Jesuit students and $5.00 each for children (ages 6-11).  Both Jesuit student ID’s and season passes will be accepted at the gate.
  • Pre-ordered Rivalry Shirts can be picked up at the front desk Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 p.m. A limited number of extra shirts are also available to purchase. Note that students may wear this year’s rivalry shirt in place of their uniform shirt on Friday (Friday is NOT a Blue and White Day).
  • Rivalry Week continues today during lunch with a twist! All houses must join forces to take down Cobra Cross. Test your strength in the pull-up competition in the courtyard. Every rep counts to beat Holy Cross’s total. There will be a pull-up bar in the courtyard today during lunch and Jesuit will attempt to defeat the Tigers in total number of pull-ups completed.
  • Students who signed up to attend the Narcan Training today should go to the St.Ignatius Hall today during lunch. You can bring your lunch. Please arrive as soon as possible.
  • The first printed edition of The Blue Jay newspaper has arrived. Any student who subscribed to the paper will receive his copy in homeroom. Additional copies of The Blue Jay are available outside of the Student Communications Office in the first floor of the Student Life Wing.
  • The Creative Writing Club will meet during the first half of lunch in Room 220.
  • Tired of Saints Football? MLB Playoffs are here to save us. Discuss this and more at today’s Sports Analysis Club meeting during the first half of lunch in Room 231. 
  • The Astronomy Club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 319 to discuss October’s Celestial events and review October star map.
  • Math tutoring will be available today during the second half of lunch in Room 229. Members of Mu Alpha Theta are reminded that they can sign up for tutoring outside Room 225.
  • The Society of Saint Joseph will be hosting a group discussion on masculinity today during the second half of lunch in Room 304.
  • The Pro-Life Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 316. 
  • All pre-freshmen and freshmen interested in attending Math Competitions this school year will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 330.
  • The Jesuit Multiverse Society is taking shape! All Jesuit Jedi or Sith, wizards or warriors, marvel or DC heroes or villains, anime, Pokemon, D&D players–any fandom enthusiasts are invited to meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 331 to find out more.
  • The Blue Jay Choir will meet today after school in the Choir loft.
  • The Movie Critics Club will meet today after school in Room 219 to watch The Bourne Identity. Matt Damon stars in this action-packed conspiracy thriller.
  • The golf team will face Brother Martin at Chateau this afternoon starting at 4:00.
  • Students interested in joining or learning more about the competitive Bass Fishing team should meet tomorrow during the first half of lunch in Room 313.  
  • The TCG (Trading Card Game) Pokémon Club will meet tomorrow after school in Room 313.
  • Students who signed up to donate blood on Monday, Oct. 6 must turn in signed permission slips before the Blood Drive. Bring them to Mrs. Tassin in Room 317. You cannot donate unless you have turned in the permission slip.
  • An admissions representative from Boston University will be available today during lunch in the College Counseling suite.
