Regular Order, Day 6

• The varsity football team will face Holy Cross in the 107^th meeting of the Great American Rivalry Series Game on Friday night at Tad Gormley with kickoff set for 7:15.  Pre-sale tickets are $10.00 each for adults and non-Jesuit students and $5.00 each for children (ages 6-11).  Pre-sale tickets are available for purchase online through Friday at 3:15 p.m. and at the front desk daily from 7:30 a.m. through 3:30 p.m.  Tickets purchased at the gate are $15.00 each for adults and non-Jesuit students and $5.00 each for children (ages 6-11).  Both Jesuit student ID’s and season passes will be accepted at the gate.
• Pre-ordered Rivalry Shirts can be picked up at the front desk Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 p.m. A limited number of extra shirts are also available to purchase. Note that students may wear this year’s rivalry shirt in place of their uniform shirt on Friday (Friday is NOT a Blue and White Day).
• Kick off Rivalry Week with Student Council today during lunch in the courtyard.  Test your strength in today’s push-up contest. The competition is open to all grade levels, and top scorers will earn candy and points for the House Cup competition
• Math tutoring will be available today and Thursday during the second half of lunch in Room 229. Members of Mu Alpha Theta are reminded that they can sign up for tutoring outside Room 225.
• Jesuit’s SABR club, Society of American Baseball Research, will meet to discuss the MLB playoff picture and more today during the first half of lunch in Room 331.
• New and returning members of The Blue Jay newspaper staff will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 203. See Mr. Flores in the Student Communications office if you cannot attend.
• The Acoustic Guitar Club will meet today and tomorrow during the second half of lunch in Room 330.
• The Spanish Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 409.
• The Chess Club will meet today after school in Room 311. 
• The golf team will face Fisher this afternoon at English Turn starting at 4:00.
• The swimming team will face Holy Cross in a dual meet at SUNO this evening at 5:15.
• Students interested in trying out for 8th, 9th, JV, or Varsity soccer teams must meet tomorrow during the first half of lunch in the auditorium. 
• Students interested in joining or learning more about the competitive Bass Fishing team should meet tomorrow during the first half of lunch in Room 313.  
• Students who signed up to donate blood on Monday, Oct. 6 must turn in signed permission slips before the Blood Drive. Bring them to Mrs. Tassin in Room 317. You cannot donate unless you have turned in the permission slip.
• The Jesuit Medical Society invites interested students, faculty, and staff members to attend a Narcan Training session through Oschner. Narcan (naloxone) training teaches you to recognize opioid overdose, administer naloxone, and provide other emergency care. The training will take place during the lunch period on Oct. 2. If interested, please see Mrs. Tassin in Room 315 to sign up. Space may be limited.
• An admissions representative from Rice University will be available today during lunch in the College Counseling suite.
