Robert S. Boh ’76 has been named Jesuit’s 2025-26 Alumnus of the Year. This prestigious award is presented annually to an alumnus who embodies Jesuit’s mission through exceptional achievements and service to Jesuit and the wider community. Boh will be honored at the Alumni Weekend Mass and Reception on November 8 at Jesuit.

Upon hearing the news of his selection as Alumnus of the Year, Boh stated, “I was surprised and very grateful to receive the news from Fr. Brown of my selection as the 2025 Alumnus of the Year. To join the distinguished list of past recipients, which includes my late father in 1998, is one of the great honors of my life. There have been so many worthy and outstanding graduates of Jesuit High School; I am humbled to be chosen.”

Jesuit’s president, Fr. John Brown, S.J., spoke to Boh’s worthiness, saying “In his leadership of Boh Brothers, caring for his employees and building up our city, Robert Boh embodies the Blue Jay ideal of being ‘A Man for Others.’ We hope today’s Blue Jays see in him a model of what they can become when they put themselves to the task of glorifying God with their talent and hard work.”

Boh graduated summa cum laude from Jesuit before attending Tulane University, where he earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering in 1980 and an MBA in 1981. Boh then began his career with Boh Bros. Construction Co., LLC and in 1994 was named President and CEO of the company following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. He has been with the company for over 40 years and currently holds the position of Chairman and CEO.

“I am grateful for the religious, ethical, and academic foundation I received from Jesuit,” Boh said.

While reflecting on how his early formation at Jesuit influenced his life, faith, and career, Boh observed, “The high school years are a formative part of a person’s life. At Jesuit, I obviously received an outstanding academic education which prepared me well for engineering school at Tulane and later for the MBA program there. Perhaps more importantly, Jesuit gave me a chance to learn about my religion and clarify my relationship with God. This became the basis for the life I would lead as an adult.”

In addition to his work at Boh Bros., Boh serves as a member of Tulane’s President’s Council, the National Academy of Construction, the Construction Industry Roundtable, and the New Orleans Business Council. He served as past chairman of the Ochsner for Children Board of Councilors, St. George’s Episcopal School, and St. Rita School Board. He also reigned as Rex, King of Carnival, in 2019.

Boh is the second person in his family to be named Jesuit’s Alumnus of the Year with his father, Robert H. Boh ’47 being honored in 1998. He and his wife Ann have three children, Richard ’02, Michael (†), and Patricia.
