Regular Order, Day 2

• Any students interested in joining Quiz Bowl, Jesuit’s academic trivia team, should meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 411.
• MCJROTC will host an informational meeting today during the first half of lunch in Room 110.
• The Anime Club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 116. 
• LSU won their season opener. Does anyone expect the Saints to do the same? Discuss this and more in today’s Sports Analysis Club Meeting during the first half of lunch in Room 231. 
• Returning National Honor Society members will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 121. 
• The Classic Rock Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 203.
• The Card Magic Club will have its first informational meeting today during the second half of lunch in Room 402. 
• The J-Troupe, Jesuit’s Elite Improv Comedy team, will meet today after school until 4:30.
• Chess club will meet today after school in Room 311. Next week, Chess club will meet after school on Monday. 
• The Tabletop Gaming Society will meet today after school until 5 pm in Room 314.
• The varsity and jv cross country teams will compete in the Battle for New Orleans Twilight Meet at the UNO Lakefront course this evening.  The Boys Silver race begins at 6:25, Boys Blue race (JV) begins at 7:30 and the Boys Invitational (V) begins at 8:40.
• The varsity swimming team will host Catholic in a dual meet tonight at UNO starting at 6:15. The event will include a student section belly flop contest and a house raft race. This is the top two teams in the state so a strong showing of support from the Gizzard is needed. The first 50 students to fill the student section will receive limited edition Gizzard shirts.
• The varsity football team will play at Jesuit Dallas tonight with kickoff set for 7:00.
• The Back to School Dance will take place tomorrow evening from 7-10pm in the Benson Arena. Admission is $20 per person. Girls from local area schools have been invited. The theme is neon. Students should show their IDs at the door.
• Today is the deadline to sign an intramural flag football team. Students must sign up on IMleagues.com. Instructions on how to sign up are on the student life page on canvas.
• Printing fee notices for the month of August have been sent to students’ Outlook accounts—not Canvas messaging.  If you received a bill in your email, you must pay this fee in Room 215 either before school, at 10-minute break, or during the lunch hour before Monday, Sept. 8. Failure to pay this bill may in a PH and a loss of computer services.
• Reminder for Grades 10–12: Our College Fair is coming up on September 8th from 5:00–6:30 PM. Over 60 colleges and institutions will be in attendance. Be sure to register for your free barcode at strivescan.com.
• An admissions representative from Case Western Reserve University will be available today during lunch in the College Counseling Suite.
• The deadline to pre-order Rivalry Game shirts is Monday, September 8, at 4 p.m. The shirts can be purchased on the Rivalry Game link on the Jesuit website.
