The soccer team picked up its fifth win of the season with a 1-0 victory over St. Paul’s Wolves, showcasing a blend of strategic finesse and athletic prowess at Lafreniere Park. Junior standout Grayson Savoie, with an assist from senior leader Conor D’Arcy, scored a sensational last-minute goal that not only clinched the win but also set a high tone for the season.

A key factor in the team’s triumph was its impenetrable defense: the backline exhibited coordination and resilience, holding the Wolves scoreless for the duration of the match. The soccer team’s record sits at 5-1-1 for the year.

Under the leadership of longtime head coach Hubie Collins and assistant coaches Jason Dormandy, Josh Bourgeois ’13, and Chris Tadros ’19, the team has set the bar high for the season as winter play picks up. The team is set to play Tuesday (today) at Lafreniere Park against Denham Springs.
