On Friday, March 18, 2022, and Saturday, March 19, hundreds of Jesuit parents, students, incoming students, faculty members, alumni, and parents of alumni arrived to campus in droves for the 2022 Jesuit Bazaar. With the event’s return to its traditional, on-campus format, palpable excitement hung in the air as attendees enjoyed food, company, live music, games, and excitement under the weekend’s blue skies. Jesuit’s MCJROTC led the welcome ceremony that signaled the start of the festivities and the Bazaar took off from there. Presented this year by Reliant Recycling, the Bazaar featured entertainment by The Benchwarmers and Uptown Phunk along with Jesuit’s own Blue Jay Jazz Band, Jayettes, Cheerleaders, and Philelectic Society.

The Bazaar added several new elements this year, starting with the highly successful “Laissez les Bons Temps Blue Jay” cook-off. Nine teams from the Blue Jay community cooked creative and eclectic food options for Bazaar attendees, who then voted on their favorite dish.

While the action on the auction boards was as energetic as ever, the winners of the weekend’s raffles have extra reason to celebrate. The Tuition Raffle, which awards one lucky family one year’s worth of tuition, was won by Terry Langlois, and the 50/50 raffle went to Kristin Sacasa.

The weekend was made possible by a team of dedicated volunteers, especially our Bazaar chairs Jaime Falcon and Michelle Ellzey, as well as our generous sponsors.
