Class of 1978 Enjoys 40-Year Reunion
The Class of 1978 kicked off the reunion season with events on the weekend of April 20-21. The ’78 reunion committee of Gerry Gillen, Mickey Bordes, and Tim Levy organized events designed to foster the connection of the class as Blue Jays.

First, the guys met on Friday evening at Lakeside Country Club for a good old New Orleans crawfish boil. Then on Saturday evening the Jays and their wives/dates enjoyed a cocktail reception at the beautiful home of Gerry and Heidi Cvitanovich. Of course, the event featured the cuisine of the Cvitanovich family’s Drago’s restaurant. Before heading to the Cvitanovich abode, several couples attended a reunion Mass celebrated by Fr. John Brown, S.J., in the Holy Name Chapel. All in all, it was a great weekend of fellowship and Blue Jay Spirit.
