Krewe of #LesMis…

Fine Arts teacher and Philelectic Society director Kate Arthurs-Goldberg instructed her cast members to keep quiet during last week’s Mardi Gras parades so they could save their precious voices for the much anticipated performance of Les Misérables School Edition. Worried that they wouldn’t catch any throws without yelling for them, students made signs for the krewe members, hoping they would sympathize. Pictured here are Blue Jays Andrew Busenlener ’18, Alex Doll ’19, Jamal Jordan ’17, and Michael Gieseler ’18 with Ursulines students Reagan Ulrich ’18, Diana Ledet ’19, Claire Myers ’20, Isabelle Ward ’18 and NOCCA student Carlie Goodlett ’19 holding up a sign that reads “My Director Said I Can’t Yell #LesMis.” Les Misérables School Edition runs March 30–April 1 and April 7–8.
