Biology teacher Matthew Firmin ’10 oversees two of his two ninth grade students as they progress in their pH lab. For one of the first labs of the year, students were asked to mix different compounds and test the pH level of each. Firmin picked this exercise to instill the scientific method in his young students as a tool that can carry them throughout their Jesuit careers.
