Regular Order, Day 4

  • The Classic Rock Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 203.
  • The Pickleball Club will meet today during the second half of lunch on the 3rd floor gym in the Roussel Building.
  • The Jesuit Multiverse society will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 331 to discuss the upcoming social events. All are fandoms are welcome.
  • Spanish club will take yearbook pictures today during the first half of lunch on the chapel steps.
  • The Table Top Gaming club will meet today after school in Room 314 until 5 pm. 
  • The varsity baseball team will host Tioga in the regional round of the state playoffs.  Game #1 of the playoff series is scheduled for tonight at John Ryan Stadium with first pitch set for 6:00.  Game #2 will be played on Saturday starting at 11:00.  The “if necessary” Game #3 will start approximately one hour following the conclusion of Game #2.  Admission for each game is $10.00 each (for adults and non-Jesuit/non-Tioga students and $5.00 each for Jesuit and Tioga students (with ID) and children (ages 6-11).  Note that both student ID’s and season passes are not accepted at the gate for LHSAA playoff contests.
  • The varsity rugby team will face Brother Martin tomorrow evening at Pan American Stadium in the state championship match starting at 6:00.  Admission is $15.00.  Note that student and faculty ID’s will not be accepted at the gate.
  • If you have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout this school year, please email Mrs. Jurisich at jurisich@jesuitnola.org or visit her on the 3rd floor of the MDS building to be added to the list. Your picture will be taken on April 27 after morning assembly in full Eagle Scout uniform.

  • Congratulations to the Jesuit Golf team on winning the Division I, District IV championship.  The Blue Jays beat the Mandeville Skippers by two shots and were led by Junior Duke Nitcher who shot an even par 72 and Sophomore John Discon who shot a 2 over par 74.  
  • The intramural March Madness (observed in April) tournament finished with a thrilling finale. The Corner Shootas defeated Team Rrr 16-14. Matthew Macaluso scored the first 7 and Witt Reinhart hit a clutch 3 to end the half. Scoring efforts in the second half were led by Nathan Macaluso 2 with points, Witt Reinhart 2 points, and Brennan Chaix’s clutch game winning layup. Jacob Currie, Jackson Kerber, and Miller Jubenville led the defense all year. The team was coached by Shane Roddy and Jack Remy.
