Regular Order, Day 7

  • The Bazaar will be held this Saturday, from Noon – 8 p.m. with music, games, student performances, and the Laissez Les Bon Temps Blue Jay Cook-Off. Come on out and support your house in the cook-off starting at 4:00pm. Students should stop at the Bazaar Welcome Tent for your complimentary Blue Jay Bucks and House Cook-Off Meal Card.
  • Pre-ordered Bazaar Shirts can be picked up at the Front Desk near the Blue Jay Shop. Extra shirts are also available for purchase for $12. 
  • Jesuit’s Medical Society is sponsoring the Spring Blood Drive on Monday March 30. Students 16 years and older can sign up to donate with Mrs. Tassin in Room 317. Representatives from the Medical Society will be visiting homerooms as well.
  • The Classic Rock Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 203.
  • The varsity rugby team will face the Catahoulas on Saturday at Marconi starting at 12:00.  The jv game follows at 1:30.
  • The jv baseball team plays at Holy Cross this evening starting at 5:00.
  • The varsity track and field team will compete in the FSU Relays in Tallahassee today.
  • The tennis team will compete in the McGill-Toolen Invitational in Mobile today and on Saturday.
  • The powerlifting team will compete in the state meet at the Pontchartrain Center on Saturday.
  • The varsity lacrosse team will face Byrd at 11:30 and Caddo Magnet at 2:30 at Southside High School.
  • The jv lacrosse team plays at Central on Saturday starting at 11:00.  The 9th grade game follows at 1:00.
  • The varsity baseball team plays at Holy Cross on Saturday night with first pitch set for 6:30.
  • The 8th grade baseball team will host Brother Martin this evening at John Ryan Stadium starting at 5:30.

Results:

  • The Jesuit Beach Volleyball team concluded regular season play with a solid outing against Ben Franklin. After a hard-fought match, Sophomore Kaleb Le and Junior Luke Jones came out with the win after three sets.
  • Congratulations to the Freshmen Blue Jay Baseball Team as they rallied to defeat Brother Martin 11-5 yesterday afternoon at John Ryan Stadium.  Garrett Cruppi pitched 4 strong innings and Braden Chadwick closed the door pitching the last 2 innings and getting the win.  Offensively, Sean McInerny had a big run scoring single and Tyce Cadre drove in 2 runs on another timely single.
