Regular Order, Day 1
- The Bazaar will be held this Saturday, from Noon – 8 p.m. with music, games, student performances, and the Laissez Les Bon Temps Blue Jay Cook-Off. Come on out and support your house in the cook-off starting at 4:00pm. Students should stop at the Bazaar Welcome Tent for your complimentary Blue Jay Bucks and House Cook-Off Meal Card. If you pre-ordered a Bazaar t-shirt, it can be picked up Wednesday through Friday at the Front Desk near the Blue Jay Shop.
- Jesuit’s Medical Society is sponsoring the Spring Blood Drive on Monday March 30. Students 16 years and older can sign up to donate with Mrs. Tassin in Room 317. Representatives from the Medical Society will be visiting homerooms as well.
- Your bracket may be busted and the Pelicans missed the playoffs, but fear not… Zach Wilson is a Saint! Fill out a Sweet 16 bracket and more at today’s Sports Analysis Club during the first half of lunch in Room 231.
- Students attending the Mu Alpha Theta State Convention will meet today during the second half of lunch in the auditorium.
- The Pro-Life Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 316.
- The newly formed Energy Drink Club will meet today during second half of lunch in Room 403.
- The cheer team is looking for athletes to join the team and help them with competitions next year. If you’re interested or would like to see what they do, come to the Benson Arena today after school at 3:30 pm. There will be free Cane’s to all who attend.
- The varsity baseball team will face Brother Martin tonight at Kirsch-Rooney with first pitch set for 6:30.
- The 9th grade baseball team will host Brother Martin this afternoon at John Ryan Stadium starting at 4:30.
- The golf team will face Rummel this afternoon at English Turn starting at 4:00.
- The junior high track and field team will compete in the A1 ABC Relays this afternoon at Muss Bertolino.
- Each homeroom that reaches $250 will get to wear fresh kicks this Friday. Teachers can submit collected money to Ms. Weber in the guidance office. Money should be turned in by Thursday in order to receive the Fresh Kicks holiday. Fresh kicks should be as follows: shoes must cover the toes and have backs; slides, flip-flops, and sandals are not allowed. Students may wear Crocs, but they must be in ‘sport mode.’ White socks may be worn in place of black socks, but socks must be worn. Each qualifying homeroom will be given a bracelet. Any student who wants to wear fresh kicks from that homeroom much have that bracelet on when they are wearing fresh kicks. The bracelet will indicate they are allowed to wear the shoes and will not be given a PH for being out of dress code. Any student not wearing the proper bracelet and wearing fresh kicks will receive a PH.
- An admissions representative from the Air Force Academy will be available today during lunch in the College Counseling suite.
