- The intramural soccer playoffs and championships had thrilling finishes. In the underclassmen league, the undefeated 67ers won putting two goals on their opponents to take the title.
- The upperclassmen championship was also a thriller. After winning the intramural football championship, JMP Squad decided one championship wasn’t enough. During the intramural soccer finals Cameron Cockrell lobbed a throw in over the middle to McCall Screen who knocked it into the back of the net to secure the 1-0 win for JMP Squad.
- In below-freezing temperatures, the rugby squad traveled to Covington on Saturday and returned with a statement win over St. Paul. The offense struck early, with Sebastian Fernandez electrifying the match with two breakaway tries and Andrew Koloski powering through defenders for another, while Patrick Newman and Collins Eustis finished elite runs on the wings. Oliver Burgeau, Fernandez, and Clark Nolan controlled the tempo with commanding runs, supported by Putty Petermans’ sharp kicking and agility, and a defensive wall of Dax Rizer, Matt Scalise, Tucker Graham, and Peter Leiva held firm as the Jays secured a gritty 31–24 victory. Momentum carried into the B-side match, where tries poured in from Douglass Deep (3), Robbie Harper (2), and William Fernandez (3), Drew Causey went a perfect 4-for-4 off the tee, and a dominant 73–0 shutout completed the sweep before next week’s trip to France to face top club competition across multiple cities.
