Regular Order, Day 3
- The House Olympics will conclude today with 3v3 basketball in the Benson Arena and Roussell Building, Pickleball on the third floor of the Roussell Building, track relays, med ball toss, and football throw competition on Will Clark Field, and chess and ping pong in the commons! Witness the epic finale to a historic House Cup! Track and field running events and throwing events have been rescheduled to today during lunch on Will Clark Field.
- Tomorrow we will follow Assembly Order #2, with an assembly period from 11:30-12:30 with grade level Guidance Assemblies. 8th and 9th graders and their homeroom teachers will report to the Rousell Building for a presentation by Dr. Mario Sacasa. They will be discussing masculinity and mental health. 10th and 11th Graders and their homeroom teachers will report to the auditorium for a presentation by Sudden Impact. Seniors will be in the chapel for a presentation by Dr. Brian Boyd from Loyola University New Orleans. Students should leave their books in their 4th period classrooms during the assembly period.
- The Creative Writing Club will meet during the first half of lunch in Room 220.
- Do you have more interest in the Super Bowl or NBA Trade Deadline? Discuss both of these and more at today’s Sports Analysis Club meeting during the first half of lunch in Room 231.
- The Pro-Life Club with meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 316.
- Members of Mu Alpha Theta that are attending the State Convention in March must complete the registration information form by Monday at 8 am. Please check your CANVAS email for the link to complete the form.
- Mu Alpha Theta students attending the tournament this Saturday at Baton Rouge Magnet will meet today in Room 227 (Algebra 2 through Calculus) to practice.
- All Geometry students attending the Math State Convention will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 330 .
- The Jesuit Men of Color will meet today during lunch in Room 324. Political Scientist Dr. Terri Jett will join the meeting. All are welcome to attend.
- The chess club will meet today after school in Room 311.
- The bowling team faces St. Augustine at Bowlero this afternoon starting at 3:20.
- The varsity soccer team will host Sulphur in the bi-district round of the state playoffs on Friday afternoon at John Ryan Stadium starting at 3:30. Admission price is $10.00 each for adults and students (non-Jesuit and non-Sulphur) and $5.00 each for children (ages 6-11) and Jesuit and Sulphur students with ID.
- The varsity wrestling team will compete in the state championship tournament on Friday and Saturday in Bossier City.
- Members of the wrestling team who are taking the spirit bus to Bossier tomorrow should bring their bags in the morning to the wrestling room. The meeting spot tomorrow after school will be the wrestling room. The bus will leave promptly at 3:30pm tomorrow.
- Friday is the deadline to register for intramural basketball for 8th, 10th, 11th, & 12th grade on IMleagues.com. Teams with less than 5 people will not be on the schedule. 9th grade registration opens on Monday.
