Regular Order, Day 1

• Members of Mu Alpha Theta attending the Brother Martin tournament on Saturday will meet to practice during the second half of lunch today through Thursday in Rooms 227, 231, and 228.
• Members of Chi Alpha Mu who are attending the Brother Martin Math Tournament this Saturday will practice today through Thursday during the second half of lunch in Room 330.
• The Acoustic Guitar Club will meet today and tomorrow during the second half of lunch in Room 330.
• Freshmen through seniors are invited to join Dr. Delio for IKON questions and discussion today and every Tuesday during the first half of lunch in Room 304.
• The Spanish Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 409.
• The Youth and Government club will meet today and tomorrow during the first half of lunch in Room 228. Both meetings are mandatory for all members attending the Youth Legislature conference.
• The Chess Club will meet today after school in Room 311. 
• Fall Sports Recognition Night will take place this evening in the auditorium.  Report time for all cross country, football, and swimming lettermen is 6:10.  Attire for lettermen is coat, tie, and dress shoes.  Tennis shoes do not meet these requirements.
• The varsity basketball team will host Hahnville tonight in the Benson Arena with tip off set for 7:00.  The jv game begins at 6:00, while the 9^th grade game starts at 5:00.
• The Mock Trial Team will hold an organizational meeting tomorrow at 6:00 pm in Room 122.
• All members of Xavier House are invited to celebrate St. Francis Xavier’s feast day this Wednesday. We will begin the day with Mass in the second floor chapel at 8:25, followed by donuts in the Courtyard during 10-minute break and jambalaya at lunch.

Toys for Toys Special Announcement

• It’s that time of year again — the Jesuit MCJROTC Toys for Tots Homeroom Contest is officially underway! Every year, the Marine Corps Reserve collects toys for local children in need, and Jesuit is proud to help spread a little Christmas cheer.
• From today through Friday, Dec. 12, each homeroom will have a Toys for Tots collection box. The homeroom in each grade that collects the most new, unwrapped toys will win a donut breakfast at the start of second semester.
• Remember — toys must be new and unwrapped, and to qualify, each homeroom needs at least one toy per student.
• Boxes will be collected on Friday, Dec. 12, and winners will be announced on Wednesday, Jan. 7.
