Regular Order, Day 7

  • The varsity football team will host St. Augustine on Friday night at The Shrine with kickoff set for 7:00.  Pre-sale tickets are $10.00 each for adults and non-Jesuit students and $5.00 each for children (ages 6-11).  Pre-sale tickets are available for purchase online through Friday at 3:00 and at the front desk daily from 7:30-3:30.  Tickets purchased at the gate are $15.00 each and $5.00 each for children (ages 6-11).  Both Jesuit student ID’s and season passes will be accepted at the gate for admission.  Blue Jay fans should enter the grounds via Tom Benson Way and enter the stadium via Gate #1.  All parking is $10.00 per vehicle.  Pay parking and concession purchases are cashless.
  • The General Student Council will meet today during the first half of lunch in St. Ignatius Hall. All homeroom representatives should attend.
  • There will be a Total Sodal Mass in the small chapel followed by lunch in Ignatius Hall.
  • The Chess club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 311. 
  • The Acoustic Guitar Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 330.
  • The Youth and Government Club will hold its inaugural meeting tomorrow during the first half of lunch in Room 228. A follow-up meeting will be held this Friday during the second half of lunch in Room 228.
  • Freshman and Sophomore members of Xavier House are invited to compete in a dodgeball game tomorrow during the first half of lunch in the Benson Arena.
  • The Movie Critics Club will meet tomorrow during the second half of lunch in Room 221.
  • Pre-freshman interested in trying out for the basketball team should attend a meeting tomorrow during the first half of lunch in the Benson Arena. See Coach Eckholdt or Coach Rogers if you cannot attend. 
  • Seniors are reminded that their Service Project Reflections will take place immediately after their last scheduled exam on Monday. Please consult rosters located in homeroom in order to know your time and location for your reflection. All seniors that have completed their 100 hours and service essay are expected to be there. Please see Mr. Delatte if you have any questions.
  • September printing fees are due today by the end of the lunch hour.

Results:

  • Last week the swimming team once again defeated Holy Cross and St. Aug. Significant time drops included James Ganuchceau, Mason Pertuit, and Chase Vidrine. Race winners include Aidan Villars, Liam Phan, and Ben Breithaupt.
