Regular Order, Day 1

  • The varsity football team will host Brother Martin tonight at Tad Gormley with kickoff set for 7:00.  Student ID’s will be accepted at the gate.
  • The ROTC and Student Council are sponsoring a tailgate this afternoon with hamburgers and hotdogs ready to eat for 5pm. The Gizzard drip station will be next to the tailgate handing out Gizzard merch to all students who attend the tailgate.
  • Any students interested in playing loteria (Mexican bingo) with the Spanish club should go to room 311 today during the second half of lunch. Tres leches cake will be provided for the winners.
  • The Anime Club will meet today during all of lunch in Room 116 to watch J.J.K. 
  • The Sportsmen’s Club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 117.
  • The Chess Club will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 311. 
  • The Classic Rock Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 203.
  • The Card Magic Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 403.
  • The Tabletop Gaming Club will meet today after school in Room 314.  
  • The J-Troupe, Jesuit’s elite improv comedy team, will meet today after school in Room 202.
  • The varsity, jv, and junior high cross country teams will compete in the St. Joseph’s Academy Invitational at Highland Park in Baton Rouge on Saturday morning.
  • The jv football team will play at Pan American on Saturday morning starting at 10:00.
  • The Sailing team will compete in the SEISA Cressy Qualifier this weekend at Lakewood Yacht Club in Seabrook, TX.
  • Admissions representatives from University of Dallas and Loyola University-New Orleans will be available today during lunch in the College Counseling  suite.

Results:

  • On Tuesday, the swimming team defeated Holy Cross by a sizable margin. Heat winners for the aqua jays include Aidan Villars, Aiden Kee, Liam Phan, Harrison Tschirn, Louis Roux, and Mason Pertuit. Come cheer on the Jays next week as they take on Brother Martin on Tuesday.
