Regular Order, Day 7

  • The varsity football team will face Bonnabel at Joe Yenni Stadium on Friday night with kickoff set for 7:00 p.m.  Since we are the visiting team Blue Jay fans should use the Phlox St. (opposite of press box) gate to enter the stadium.  All tickets for this non-district contest may be purchased online by accessing the Jesuit website.
  • The Creative Writing Club will meet during the first half of lunch in Room 116.
  • Want to watch a high functioning offense this weekend? Maybe you should catch the Tulane game. Discuss this and more in today’s Sports Analysis Club during the first half of lunch in Room 231. 
  • Mu Alpha Theta tutoring will take place today during the second half of lunch in Room 229.
  • The Pro-Life Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 316.
  • The Investment Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 334.
  • The Chess Club will meet today after school in Room 311. 
  • The Movie Critics Club will meet today after school in Room 221 to watch Soylent Green, the first entry in their conspiracy thrillers program.
  • The golf team will face St. Augustine at Bartholomew this afternoon starting at 4:00.
  • The Paintball Club has scheduled its first paintball outing for Saturday, Sept. 27 at NOLA Paintball. Permission forms are available outside the ROTC office and are due next week. Please see Master Gunnery Sergeant Piseno with any questions.
  • The Astronomy Club will meet tomorrow during the first half of lunch in Room 319. 
  • Students interested in joining or learning more about the rugby team will meet tomorrow during lunch in the first floor conference room of the Madonna Della Strata building. Chick-fil-A will be available to attendees of the meeting.
  • The Jesuit Medical Society invites interested students, faculty, and staff members to attend a Narcan Training session through Oschner. Narcan (naloxone) training teaches you to recognize opioid overdose, administer naloxone, and provide other emergency care. The training will take place during the lunch period on Oct. 2. If interested, please see Mrs. Tassin in Room 315 to sign up. Space may be limited.
