Fall Evening of Reflection– September 18

Throughout the calendar year, Jesuit High School hosts four evenings of reflection for all members of the Jesuit community: students, alumni, parents and friends. These evenings feature deep dives on specific themes and topics.
The evenings of reflection are typically categorized as the:
- Lenten Evening of Reflection
- Spring Evening of Reflection
- Fall Evening of Reflection
- Advent Evening of Reflection
Alumni, parents of alumni, friends, parents of current students, grandparents, students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend the first Evening of Reflection of the 2025-26 school year.

“Finding an Anchor”
A reflection of his time at the helm during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
Fr. Anthony McGinn, S.J., earned his M.A. in history at the University of Texas at Austin while teaching at Jesuit New Orleans from 1972–1976, then spent a year at Jesuit Tampa before returning in 1981 as social studies teacher and principal. In 1992 he began Jesuit’s longest presidency—steering the school through Katrina’s aftermath, serving as Provincial’s Assistant for Secondary Education, and leading a final interim presidency—and now pastors Immaculate Conception Church.
