Twelve 2025 Graduates Earn LHSAA All-Academic Composite Team Honors

Reflecting their dedication to athletics and academics, four Blue Jays from the graduating Class of 2025 secured positions on the Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) All-Composite Team. This honor recognizes senior student-athletes who have demonstrated academic excellence by maintaining a 4.0 unweighted grade point average over six semesters.
Seniors honored with all-academic awards include Brady Mullen (cross country, track & field); Nathan Flynn, Egan Palmisano, and Samuel Schlafer (swimming); Ethan Lapeze (basketball); Andrew Duncan, Cameron Grandbouche, and Quinn Grandbouche (soccer); Jose Rincon (wrestling); Tyler Sciambra (baseball); and Andrew Cavallino and Scott Harper (tennis).
The achievement underscores Jesuit’s commitment to fostering well-rounded student-athletes. The Composite Team is made up of those maintaining a flawless academic record—without consideration of honors classes—reflecting LHSAA’s stringent standards.
The nomination process for the Composite Team requires student-athletes to have participated in their respective sport for at least two years while maintaining a six-semester 4.0 GPA. Following nominations, a thorough selection process takes place, and those meeting the criteria are notified of their Composite Team status.
