Regular Order, Day 5

• The Art Club will meet today and every Monday during the first half of lunch in Room 203.  New members are welcome.
• All students attending the Joan of Arc Opera will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 318.
• The Fencing Club will meet today after school in front of the library.
• The varsity basketball team plays at Phoenix tonight with tip off set for 6:00.
• The bowling team faces Patrick Taylor this afternoon at All-Star Lanes starting at 3:20.
• The varsity soccer team closes out the regular season tonight hosting Mandeville at John Ryan Stadium starting at 6:00.
• All members of Mu Alpha Theta will meet tomorrow during the second half of lunch in Room 227.
  The Anime Club will meet on the chapel steps tomorrow at the beginning of the second half of lunch for the yearbook photo.
• Intramural basketball forms are due today during lunch.
• An admission representative from University of Alabama will be available during lunch today in Room 122.
• Top’s tip of the day: Bullying is not tolerated at Jesuit High School of  New Orleans.

Results:

• On Saturday the 8th grade basketball team defeated St. Paul’s 41-27. Down four at halftime, the team outscored St. Paul’s by 18 in the second half. Jude LaForge led all scorers with 14 points, while Koby Young and Gus Laibe each scored eight. The team got other important contributions from Luke Couret, Philip Lundgren, Harry Treigle, and Will Homes.
• On Friday night, the basketball team defeated John Curtis 34-33. Luke LaForge made the game winning free throws with 20 seconds remaining. Luke had 12 rebounds as well. Kyle Haupt led the team in scoring with 12 points. The defense was led by the play of Christopher Gillen.
