Regular Order, Day 1

• Celebrate the last day of welcome week with snowballs in the courtyard during lunch. Stick around for a special lunch pep rally as Jario and company battle Bowser and crown the first ever Gizzard King.
• Students interested in joining the track and field team should meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 323. Anyone currently in a fall sport can still sign up. If you cannot make the meeting, please see Coach Nick Accardo this week.
• Any student interested in joining the debate team will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 212.
• The Ultimate Frisbee Club will meet today during the second half of lunch on Will Clark Field.
• Will LSU recruit enough pro players to make the College Football Playoffs? Discuss this and more at today’s Sports Analysis Club during the first half of lunch in Room 231. 
• Returning members of the Pro-Life Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 316.
• The Jesuit Multiverse Society will meet during the second half of lunch in Room 331. All fandoms are welcome to attend.
• The Blue Jay Choir will meet today after school in Room 203 to prepare for Friday’s Mass. 
• The first full meeting of the Game Dev Club will be today after school from 3:30-5pm in Room 419.
• The 9^th grade football team will face St. Charles Catholic at St. Charles Catholic on Monday morning at 9:00.  The jv team follows at 10:30.
• The varsity football team will host Madison Prep in our home opener tonight at Tad Gormley Stadium with kickoff set for 7:00.  Pre-sale tickets are available for purchase daily at the front desk up until 3:30 today.  Pre-sale tickets are $5.00 each for Jesuit students and children (ages 6-11) and $10.00 each for adults and non-Jesuit students.  Tickets can also be purchased online from jesuitnola.org/tickets.  All adult tickets purchased at the gate are $15.00 each.  Jesuit students with ID are $5.00 at the gate.
• Tomorrow we will celebrate the Mass of the Holy Spirit.  Students are to come to school wearing a dress coat, dress shirt, tie, slacks, belt, dress shoes, and socks.  You may wear a suit if you wish.  Pre-Freshmen will remain on campus for their retreat; any juniors and seniors serving as Big Brothers should report to the auditorium at the conclusion of Mass; all other students will be dismissed after Mass.
• Loupe Photo will be doing registration day picture retakes and makeups tomorrow immediately after Mass of the Holy Spirit in St. Ignatius Hall.
• Seniors interested in specific scholarships that require a nomination from Jesuit High School should review the application found on Canvas: College Counseling.  The deadline to submit the application, short essays, and resume is next Wednesday.  See your college counselor with questions.
• Attention 8th, 9th, and 10^th grade students: the free after-school tutoring program will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 8. Free tutoring is available after school from 3:00-4:00 p.m. for students in math, English, physical science, biology, and Spanish. Please refer to the Guidance Canvas page for more information.
