Jesuit's Guidance Department hosts its annual Fall Town Hall on September 10, offering parents practical strategies to help their sons thrive academically and personally throughout the year.
Town Hall Meeting – Thursday, September 10
5:30 pm, St. Ignatius Hall (enter through main entrance on Banks and S. Solomon)
New parents are very strongly encouraged to attend this meeting, presented by Mrs. Robin Rhodes (8th grade guidance counselor), Mrs. Stephanie Strain (director of guidance), and Mrs. Grace Delaney (coordinator of student health and wellness program). The presentation, titled “Supporting Student Success”, will focus on the transition to high school and is intended to equip parents with the tools and knowledge to confidently support their sons. Information will be provided on enhancing students’ academic and personal success. Topics discussed include study skills, navigating Canvas, academic programs, and understanding student transcripts. Administrators will also be in attendance to answer questions and get to know our families better.
