Blue Jays and their mothers came together once again for a heartfelt morning of prayer, gratitude, and fellowship at Jesuit’s annual Mother–Son Mass and Breakfast. The day began with Mass at Immaculate Conception Church on Baronne Street — a sacred space intertwined with Jesuit’s own history as the school’s original home until 1925. The liturgy, concelebrated by Fr. Anthony McGinn, S.J. ‘66, Fr. John Brown, S.J., , and Fr. Roy Joseph, S.J., invited mothers and sons to pause and reflect on the unique and formative bond they share.

After Mass, families made their way to breakfast, where conversation, laughter, and shared memories filled the room. As in years past, Loupe Photography was on hand to provide professional portraits, giving mothers a tangible keepsake of their morning with their Blue Jays. These photographs — along with the experience itself — continue to serve as reminders of the deep gratitude and affection that characterize this beloved tradition.
