  • Mardi Gras beads are currently being collected for recycling by the Joy Center at St. Michael School. Place beads in the boxes outside the library or at the front desk of the Madonna della Strada building.
  • Students going on the next Kairos retreat from Feb. 29 – Mar. 3 must meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 122.
  • All Student Council Class Level Officers will meet today during the first half of lunch in Room 231 for a training session. Class Level Officers are defined as the Class President, Vice President, and Representative-at-Large. Please check with Mr. Genovese if you are unsure about your Student Council title. 
  • The Card Magic Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 403. 
  • The Spanish Club will meet today during the second half of lunch in Room 409.
  • The Blue Jay newspaper staff will meet today during the second half of lunch in the Student Communications office.
  • All Sophomores participating in this Saturday’s Sophomore Service Day are reminded that permission forms are due to Room 126 by the end of the day today.
  • Beach Volleyball will have practice today at White Sands starting at 4:30. 
  • The varsity baseball team will open its season tonight vs. Terrebonne at Kirsch-Rooney with first pitch set for 7:30.
  • The jv baseball team will open its season at Chalmette this evening starting at 5:30.
  • Model UN will meet tomorrow during the second half of lunch in Room 203.
  • The Churchill Society of New Orleans is once again holding its annual high school essay contest. Students who are interested in Winston Churchill, the history of World War II, or the chance to win a cash prize should see Mr. Trosclair in the Social Studies Office, Room 205, for more info.
  • Printing fees for January have been sent to students’ Outlook email accounts (not Canvas messaging). Students who owe printing fees may pay in Room 215 before school, at the 10-minute break, or during the lunch hour to avoid losing computer services and receiving a PH.
  • Juniors: tomorrow Jesuit will be hosting a service fair during lunch in the Hall of Honors. Various organizations where juniors can do their Summer Service Project will be represented. Come by to meet some of the directors of these organizations, to sign up, and to see what opportunities exist for you to complete your Summer Service Project. Please notify Mr. Delatte to which organization you intend to apply.
